We are excited to offer this workshop in a hybrid format with your choice of (limited) in-person attendance or virtual attendance.

This is a PPA Continuing Education Course, so you can earn a PPA merit by attending both days of the workshop. Merits will be awarded for only those who attend the live program (virtual or in-person).

We will record the workshop, and the recording will be available for 2 weeks after the class for those who attended the training.

 Painting with Photoshop

We all want our business to grow and prosper!  Sandra's expertise will explain how you can turn your photography into beautiful art pieces, thus setting yourself apart from the competition!  She feels photographers are already comfortable with the tools of Photoshop so your time with her will enable you to concentrate on the techniques of painting rather than learning a new program!

The difference between traditional art and digital art are vast and varied.  There is one common link, the knowledge and skill needed to create true art, regardless of the medium.  Not only does Sandra Pearce have a working knowledge of traditional and computer-based art, but she also has experience teaching each form as well.

Sandra Pearce is one of the most sought out digital artists in the photographic industry today. She is a Master Artist, Master Photographer, and Craftsman. She is an Image Excellence & Image Excellence Bar Recipient. Sandra has spoken to thousands of professional photographers across the United States, from guild-level programs to state and national conventions. Her experience in digital imaging has set her apart in competition and she has been awarded Artist of the Year by the Florida Professional Photographers numerous years, Canon Par Excellence 2015 and 2016, Kodak Awards, Fuji Awards, and other awards through the years. Sandra has been in the top ten for GIA awards since its inception in 2010. Sandra won the FIA Award for 1st Place in the Art Category in 2010 and 2016 at the Imaging Awards.

This class has been approved by PPA for one continuing education merit for each attendee. (approval in progress)

From APPA: This is a hands-on class. You MUST bring your computer and a tablet (Wacom Intuos is recommended). If you don't have a tablet, beg, borrow, buy, or steal one, but you need one.

This is not an introduction to Photoshop. You need to know a few basics, have used the brush tool, and be reasonably comfortable generally with PS. It is recommended that you take an introductory Photoshop class, watch some YouTube videos or otherwise prepare yourself.

This two-day workshop takes place on Saturday AND Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm both days.  We will record the virtual version, and. make it available for 2 weeks following the workshop.  This extra time to re-listen and practice specific techniques is an added bonus this year and we are excited to offer it to you!
